Such a beautiful day today. I'm really so pleased that winter seems to be finally gone; it's been a long one in many ways. I'm ready for the warmth and colors of spring.
Hanami literally means "flower viewing," but it basically is the term for the Japanese custom of enjoying and cherishing every moment of cherry blossom season. It's not a bad idea in general, though. It seems wise to take some time to enjoy what's beautiful and special. Don't you agree?
